Embarrassing fun dork moment: I’ve been busy busy and haven’t checked my junk mail. I buy canvases from Michael’s and forgot they have vouchers that accrue in your rewards thing. Voucher was $185. Even one of the clerks thought it was a joke and was laughing and I was … not laughing with her. $185 meant big canvases. Rent was due today, but who cares? Daddy bought two giant canvases, six new acrylic paint tubes, and two new brushes for three dollars and eighty-seven cents. I’m driving away from the store as excite-terrified happy and hurried as that woman in that IKEA commercial screaming “start the car!”
